For Homeschool Science we are doing the Good and the Beautiful Space unit. It is such a beautiful curriculum. It teaches children to appreciate and seek out the Good and the Beautiful things in learning. It has truly been a blessing in our homeschool journey this school year.
We read about the different parts of a rocket. Then built a rocket as we watched Nasa footage about Mars and living space.
We were learning about the phases of the moon on Pinterest I found an Oreo moon phase. We gave it a try and wow you were able to understand it a whole lot better.
This is why I homeschool.

After a Bath
After a cold Winter day it is so nice to get in a warm bath.
After your bath you love to wear your Darth Vader robe around the house for a while.
All I can say is that you are just to darn adorable.

Fairy Money
The tooth fairy came to visit you a lot the last couple of months.
You got a $2 bill for each tooth you lost.
You saved up your tooth fairy money and then Dad took you into Target to pick out a pack of Pokémon cards.

Spy
Sometimes when you and Dad are on the trampoline I go to your bedroom and spy on you guys playing your games.
I am so very grateful that your Dad is an amazing Father since the day you were born.
You guys have such a special bond and it makes my heart smile.

School Time
I love everything about these pictures, a boy super excited to have his cat up on the log, hilarious chickens in the background, and beautiful mild Winter weather.
When Madcat jumped on the log he walked all over your journal you were writing in.
You circled all the pawprints and drew arrows so you could remember.

On The Go
I started a job as a crossing guard at the beginning of January and since we are homeschooling you have to come along. We gather all your school items and head to my 2 hour crossing job.
It has been quite challenging to figure out how to teach you in tight quarters. We had more days of frustration then good days but we both can agree that spending so much quality time strengthened our relationship.
President Monson said, “Perhaps the most sufficient of all classrooms is the classroom of the home.” This is why we homeschool because it definitely isn’t easy but it is well worth it."

Winter Swim Lessons
Ryker told us,” I love swimming lessons because I get to be in the water!”
Your teacher said that you are doing awesome and she loves having you in her class.

Ice Castles
I love winter especially when there is snow for my birthday.
I got my wish with softly falling snow while we walked around the ice castles in Midway.
It was absolutely magical.
I just can’t get enough of you my little American Canadian Eskimo.
I am one lucky girl to have Dave in my life.
He is always making me feel loved by going on Frozen adventures with me for 12 years.
Yay! for January birthday’s.
Ryker had lots of fun exploring all the slides this year at the castle.
