{7 Months}

You are having a growth spurt; a 4 oz bottle isn't enough any more.
You just started really liking solids; you will eat the whole 4 oz jar of vegetables.
You rolled over on Mother's day.
You sit up really well with no support, but if you lean to the side you fall over, but sometimes you catch yourself, other times you don't.
You figured out how to hold your hands together.
You love to grab our hair and it makes you laugh.
You are wearing 6 months clothes and 9 month sleepers.
You are still in size 3 diapers.
You are not a huge fan of a binky any more. Instead you use it to massage your gums.

{First taste of Vegetables}

Sweet Potato: You love these with every bite you would say',"mmmm".

Corn and Sweet Potato: You were unsure about these. By the middle you started to like it more.

Squash: These were the first veggies you tried and you weren't very interested.

Peas: You weren't a huge fan of these ,but you ate them anyways.

Green Beans: You loved this so much you ate the entire 4 oz jar. Every time you took a bite you say "mmmm".


Carrots: These were the last vegetables you tried and they were your absolute favorite. You ate 1 1/2 jars!

{Medicine}

You love to take your medicine. We were laughing because it must be sweet to you.

{ A Sunny Walk}

We finally had a brake in the weather from all the rain. Friday was such a beautiful day I had to get out of the house. The sun was so warm that it put you out while we were on a walk. I thought it would be a great idea to let you sleep in your stroller outside. Well, that didn't last long because a loud car came flying by and woke you up. It was cute while it lasted.

{Basket Fun}

I put this basket in front of you while you were playing with dad so you could reach in and grab new toys to keep busy. After a while I looked down and I see you playing in the basket having a grand time. You love playing in things and it always puts a smile on my face.

Ant invasion

Over the past couple of weeks we have been having a lot of ants in our kitchen. Every time I would see one I would squish it hoping that this would solve the problem. Well it didn't. One morning I opened the cupboard to grab a bowl and saw at least 3 ants and then I went to get some honey in the next cupboard and the ants had multiplied.
I got so bugged out (for being so small they sure are creepy looking) that I took everything out one by one and put it on the counter. I examined each thing and still I had ants creeping through all the food. When I was spraying bug spray and cleaning the cupboards, Ryker had so much fun exploring. (I had to stop several times to kiss his head)
The next day we had Bug Off come and spray and we found where they were sneaking in through our back door. We are now ant invasion Free!

{Sitting up}

This pass week you have been interested in sitting up by yourself. You are doing very well with little support. If we lay you down your freak out, once we sit you up you are happy as can be. I love experiencing all the milestones with you.

{Little Helper}

Every time you see a laundry basket you get so excited and lean way over to try to reach it. You love to play inside it and get rides around the house.

{Sick}

This was your first time being sick. Friday morning all you would do is cry no matter if I was holding you or I put you down. It's not like you. I called the nurse and she mentioned that you might have an ear infection so we needed to bring you in. That afternoon we went off to the doctors to get you checked out. The nurse was correct, you had a double ear infection. It is so hard to see you sick and just wanting to be held while you are awake and asleep. Being a mom is very challenging, but rewarding.
