I love being a mother to…
My little boy. Life is never boring with you and I love it!
Peering through the window.
Reading a chapter book at Nana’s house.
Trying on daddy’s magnify glasses.
Walking in daddy’s shoes.
Climbing into a crib and trying on hats at Target.
Little naked boy being cute as can be!
Who knew that mommy's pads could be so much fun to play in the tube with.
Painting a mirror with bubbles.
Playing in a wheel chair with dad at Nuskin.
At Dick’s climbing in with the balls and pretending to drive the wheel chair.
A little boy for sale.
What is better then one sucker… two! He takes one lick of the orange and then switches to the root beer sucker. Very cleaver if I say so myself.
Playing in mud at the Ranch. Have I mentioned before, I can’t get enough of this little face.
Ryker found this awesome leopard at Old Navy.
I have learned how not to get so embarrassed when you run crazy around the store, or pull all the clothes off the shelf, or climb into a pile of balls and when I am yelling your name trying to find you. I will take every embarrassing moment to have you with me every day.

Christmas Traditions
I loved this idea on Pinterest, they unwrapped a Christmas book everyday until Christmas day. So we gave it a try and we all really enjoyed opening a book before bed and reading it. Ryker got the hang of ripping off the paper.
We bought a Fisher-Price nativity set. So little man can play with his and not mine. He liked putting the angel on top and listening to Silent Night. Hopefully he will play with it more next year.
I read somewhere, where they gave their kids a Christmas book on New Years Eve and I thought that was a great idea. It will build our Christmas library.
I love having my own family and starting our traditions together.

Mary, the Mother of Jesus
This Christmas season I reflected on Mary, the mother of Jesus. I have never thought about it in the way I did this year. She got to kiss the Savior of the world, wipe his sweet face off from playing in the dirt, wipe His tears, give Him lots of kisses, lots of cuddle time, rock him to sleep, and protect him from harm. I am not raising a Savior, but I am raising one of God’s sons and I feel the sweet spirit that Mary must have felt raising Christ.
Mary, thank you for helping me reflect on the importance of motherhood.

Snow Fun
We have been very spoiled having dad with us for a week and half this Christmas break. It snowed on Christmas Eve and then dumped on December 26th. We took the opportunity to play in the snow, since last year we barely had any. Ryker had a blast getting pulled on the sled, building a snow fort and crawling through it.
January 27th, we got together to go sledding at the bowl near Provo temple. This was Ryker’s first time going sledding down a long hill and he loved every minute of it. We let him go down with Spencer and then Dave would go down the hill and gather everything together and put Ryker on his shoulders and head back up. Little man spent the majority of the time siding down the hill on his bottom. We had “snow” much fun!
