This is one of my favorite times of the year, going to the Relief Society Broadcast with my mom and sister. We had a couple of little tag alongs with us this time, Ryker and Spencer.
I loved the talk that President Dieter F. Uchtdorf on You Are Not Forgotten.
"As a child, when I would look at the little forget-me-nots, I sometimes felt a little like that flower—small and very insignificant. I wondered if I would be forgotten by my family or by my Heavenly Father.
Years later, I can look back on that young boy with tenderness and compassion. And I do know now I was never forgotten.
And I know something else. As an Apostle of our Master, Jesus Christ, I proclaim with all the certainty and conviction of my heart and soul—neither are you!
You are not forgotten.
Sisters, wherever you are, whatever the circumstances may be, you are not forgotten. No matter how dark your days may seem, no matter how insignificant you may feel, no matter how overshadowed you think you may be, your Heavenly Father has not forgotten you. In fact, He loves you, with an infinite love.
…God loves you because you are His child. He loves you even though at times you may feel lonely or make mistakes.
The love of God and the power of the restored gospel are redemptive and saving. If you will only allow His divine love into your life, it can dress any wound, heal any hurt, and soften any sorrow.”
I know this talk was for me. Often times I go through each day thinking that no one cares about me and I am forgotten about. I feel that no one other than my family knows that I exist. It is nice to feel the love the Savior has for me as I listened. I am not alone and He has not Forgotten me.
During the Saturday Morning Session, He once again talked about how the lord loves and knows me. It touched me so strongly that I couldn't deny these feelings and I know I need to work on.
It is wonderful to know that these men are so close to the lord that they know what needed to be said.

Fall
I love how beautiful fall makes the world. All the trees are bursting with colors, the cool crisp mornings and warmer afternoons, the smell of pumpkin cookies and pie, homemade applesauce and apple pie, sweater weather and of course taking the ski lift at Sundance.
Saturday afternoon our little family went up to Sundance to ride the ski lift to experience the bursting of colors. It was Ryker’s first time and he did great!
See the toy “chuck's friend” (down below we just got it in the morning) in his hand? Well, a few minutes later he was being silly and wiggling around a little to crazy and we tried to tell him to stop or he is going to fall or the toy will and then the toy slipped out of his hands and fell. After a long while we heard a splat. He was not happy, we were glad it was the toy and not him!
These pictures tell the story…
Our shadow, waving" “ Hi”.
It was so peaceful and (somewhat) relaxing as a family enjoying Gods creation.
Happy Fall

God’s Creations
Life can be so busy and often times I forget to look up at God’s beautiful creation and when I do I witness these breath taking sunsets.
"Our testimonies are strengthened as we reverently observe the great universe God has created for us. The Lord declared to Enoch, 'All things are created and made to bear record of me' (Moses 6:63).”-Robert R. Steuer, "The Power of Light and Truth," Ensign, May 2008, 100

5 Star Ranch
This ranch is a 12,000 square foot home, located in Birdseye, Utah up Spanish Fork Canyon. It’s about a 45 minute drive from Orem. It has 2 full kitchens, 9 bedrooms and 10 bunk beds, 8 bathrooms, 2 large family rooms, and a game room.
This is where you will find us (Mom, Britnie, Spencer, Ryker and our 2 helpers-when needed) cleaning. Depending on how messy the people are it usually takes 3 1/2- 4 1/2 hours. Spencer is an awesome babysitter playing/watching Ryker. It’s a lot of work, but it’s nice to take a moment and look out the window and enjoy the view.

What did we do in the Summer time?
Wow, this summer has gone by way too fast. It’s sad that it’s coming to an end. We have had such a great/busy summer, here are some of what we did.
At the beginning of August, Britnie and I took the kids and went to this awesome pirate park before we took Spencer to his swimming lessons.
Ryker found out he could climb onto his chair and play with toys on the toy box.
We found out that this kid really loves to eat corn on the cob. He ate almost the whole thing!
We have been spending a lot of time at the River woods splash pad. It’s free and it’s a great way to stay cool in the 100 degree weather.
On July 3rd this hot balloon flew over our town house. It was so cool to watch it as it flew over our home.
Ryker helping daddy push the cart around Costco.
Ryker and I would spend almost every Wednesday (with playgroup, Spencer and Britnie) at seven peaks. In August Dave bought a pass and we spent a couple of evenings and Saturdays splashing in the water and soaking up the sun.
One evening a fire truck was down our street. We took a walk to see it up close.
We spent a lot of time outside playing at the park.
Taking a Sunday nap.
I asked Ryker to look at me and this is the face I got. This was the first time he has ever had this high of water in the bath, and he also learned how to blow bubbles in the water.
This was on a Sunday in August, before we left for church you slipped you feet into dad’s shoes. Ryker just woke up from a nap during church and dad put the blanket on like a cap. Ryker is walking to nursery.
These Sunflowers are out in the field outside our window. I get to enjoy looking at them everytime I go to the kitchen sink. Taking time to smell the flowers.
Ryker and I went to SLC with our friends, Halle (the little girl), Parker and Kimi. We spent the afternoon going to the Traci Aviary and watching a bird show, walking around seeing different kinds of birds, eating a snow cone, and playing at the splash park.
We saw some spectacular sun sets. We have had a lot of fires around Utah due to the dry/hot weather. We got a lot of harvest suns in the evening time.
Good bye Summer. Fall in in the air and we are ready to see what adventures it will bring.
