{Cousins}

Emily Hyde was born October 31st, 2010, just 8 days after Ryker. It's fun for ryker to have a little cousin his same age so they can grow up being instant friends from afar.

Father's Day

Father's day was very special this year. Dave was such a proud dad. We spoiled Dave with his favorite dinner Grilled Shrimp Caprese and a tool tote for his new and approved tools.
One of favorite things in the whole world is to watch Dave and our son interact with each other. I love it when Dave holds Ryker his eyes light up and he always has a huge smile. It is so amazing what happens between a Father and Son bond. One of my biggest hope that you two will always have a close relation ship.

Dave and I truly blessed to have our fathers' who have always been there for us. They have always love us no matter what life throws at us. They are our best support and we know that we can still go to them for anything. We love you guys. Happy Father's Day!

{8 months}

*You love sitting up all by yourself (with little support from mom) in the bath and splash the water.
*You can roll over twice in a row.
*You still take 2 naps a day anywhere from 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
*You love to pull mommy's hair. It always makes you laugh so hard.
*You love it when daddy comes home. You get so excited that you laugh and reach out for him to hold you.
*You love to rub your bold head with your right hand and put your left fingers upside down in your mouth.
*Your first bottom tooth popped through on mom and dad's 5th anniversary, June 24.
*You love to take off your left sock. You haven't figured out to take off the right one.
*You love playing outside on the grass. You like the feel of the grass between your toes.
*You started sleeping on your left side.
*You love to throw your toys then try to reach for them.
*Your favorite show to watch on the Ipad are: Backyardians and Barney.
*If we put your toys to close to you, you will pick that toy up and move it just out of reach so you can grab it yourself.

Mom and Dad love you very much and you are such a blessing in our lives. Our love grows each day when we see you smile, laugh, or stare at us with those beautiful blue eyes. Happy 8 Months Ryker!

{Cousins}

Anya was born on November 9th on your original due date. It was fun to watch you play with your cousin. You liked it when she was not to close to you, but once she touched you you would cry. You were unsure about us putting you next to Anya. Anya was having a grand time on the floor while you wanted to stay stiff like a board. Silly boy.

{Spending time with Family}

These pictures will be a treasure to have. Your grandma and grandpa love you very much and they are very proud of you.

3 Generations-

We couldn't resist putting this cute headband on your head. We wanted to see what our little girl is going to look like. I have a feeling we are going to have cookie cutter babies.

You did not like Anya touching you.

We were all gathered at the wedding for Greg and Sky Sefcik on June 17th, 2011. It was a wonderful day spending time with family.

{Basket Fun with Dad}

You love to sit in the laundry basket being pushed and carried around. You are always making us smile and laugh.

{Swing}

Looking up at the sky.

We have a little park across the street from out town house. Every evening we head over to swing. You absolutely love it. I loved to swing when I was little. I have always dreamed of having a swing on a big Oak tree. I hope you will always enjoy the simple pleasure of swinging. I love to sit and swing next to you.

A Birthday and a Parade

Patiently waiting for the parade to begin.

Ryker hanging out with dad on the ground. He found a little dirt pile in between the cement crack and he had a grand time exploring the dirt.

Saturday June 11th was Britnie's birthday. Dave and I spent the majority of the day making a mint chocolate cake. At 5pm we headed over to my parents to have chicken sandwiches and cake. We got a little show from Spencer when he sang "Happy Birthday" to his mom; that was his gift to her. He even ran outside and picked a flower. The cake wasn't all that good, by the end, my 3 layer cake became a leaning tower of Pisa. We stuck a fork in it to hold it up but it fell completely over. Oh well, that's the risk when trying a new recipe.
Afterwords we (Jason, Britnie, Spencer, Mom, Brian, Dave, Ryker, and I) headed to the Orem Festival Parade. This year the weather was perfect and the parade was fun to watch. It also helped that we had our own kid with us. We had fun watching Ryker experience his first parade. He wasn't happy with the loud sirens on the fire trucks, police cars, or bands. He cried a couple of times when they were loud and coming by, but after a while he was used to it. It was difficult towards the end for him to fall asleep.

I have always looked up to you and I am so proud to call you my sister. Happy Birthday Britnie! I love you.

{CARS chair}

You love this cars chair that dad bought you. Your favorite time of the day is sitting and playing peek-a-boo with your stuffed cat (with dad)and play with toys. I love watching your dad spoil you, it brings a smile to my face.

{Blessing Dress}

This is your Great Grandpa JR's dress. John Richard Walker was blessed in 1941. It was hand made by your Great-Great Grandmother Lola Walker. This moment I will always remember.
