{Silly Boy}

You learned how to fold your arms to say prayers.

I can’t get enough of you! You and daddy come up with the cutest things. Daddy has a Skull cap and he put it on you and said, “He looks like a cancer patient—while laughing.” If you ask me you are a darn cute cancer patient.

{22 Months}

1. You are always jumping, you have recently mastered it and now you can jump with both feet off the ground.
2. You love to run, typically kids will walk by there parents but not you, you are constantly on the run. You have the love for running from your father.
3. You are a fish, you could stay in the water all day if we let you. You are such a brave boy, you figured out when your head is under water you will hold your breath. You got this love from both mom and dad.
4. New words to your vocabulary: Waaay, Crash, No No No, Broo {broke}, beep beep {you do this when you hear a car/truck}
5. One day you put your finger over your mouth and went “shh.” You watch us closer then we thought.
6. You got your first wasp sting on your left wrist.  Now every time you see any type of bug you will point and tell me in your own words “gibberish” all about it. It’s so sad to listen to.
7. Any time you get something new, you have to go to sleep with it.
8. If you want something and we aren't coming, you will pull at us and take us where you want us to go. If you want us to sit by you, you will pat at the spot until we come and sit.
9. You are Mr. Independent, if I try to feed you and you wanted to feed yourself you will throw a fit and place your food exactly where you want it, then you are content.  If we try to move any of your cars to put something in front of you, it’s a melt down and once you get your cars in the right place you are fine again.
10. Dad taught you how to nod you head “yes”. You don’t use it often, only when we ask you to show us how you do it.
11. You will shake you head no and say, heee and smile for yes.
12. You love to climb anything and everything!
13. You are busy, busy, busy. Dad said, you are bringing in age 2 with a bang!

You are our “SUNSHINE” and we love how you brighten our house/ hearts with your smiles, laughter and personality. We can’t get enough of you, We love you!

{Enjoy being 10 months}

You had a lot of new adventures when you turned 10 months. One of the biggest accomplishments was learning how to climb the stairs.  I often forget you are getting that mobile and you will disappear around the corner and I run to save you from falling. Most of the time you were already heading to the 2nd step!

This was your very first time having a bubble bath. You liked splashing and poking the bubbles.

You are showing us how to use your new sippy cup. 

This has always been your all time favorite thing to do. Pull the wipes out of  the container so you can eat them and clean everything around you. I enjoy watching you explore you surroundings.

You are becoming a pro at pulling yourself up, so I pull up the blinds and you will stand there looking out the window. I love getting a glimpse of your little hand prints all over the window.

When it starts to cool down from the 95 degree weather I took you to the park across the street and pushed you in the swing. These pictures captured only 5 minutes of swinging. 

1. This little pointer finger is so darn cute. You love to point at everything and when you are eating cheerios  the tip of your finger  fits perfectly in the small hole. (check out the 2 bottom pearly whites)

{Sound Asleep}

It was weird to wake up at 8am having it quite in the house. I went to check on you and I found you sleeping like this. You usually sleep on you stomach. We have been looking for a crib bumper and when I found your head squished up against the bars I knew I had to pick one out a lot faster!

{Resemblance}

When I saw these pictures of me I insistently saw you in me. You definitely have the Card round head, my nose, round chin and ears. You have dad's eye shape, you also have a mix of both of us in your cheeks, and smile. You are just the perfect mix so that makes you darn cute!

{9 months}

*A couple of days before you turned 9 months, you started to roll up on your knees to grab toys that are far away. When you are on your knees you make grunting noises.
*You are in some 9 month clothes but mostly still in 6 months.
*You are still in size 3 diapers.
*You are not a huge fan of food but the little foods you like are:
cold Gerber baby yogurt
Pancake
Scrambled eggs
Cheerios
Oatmeal and rice cereal
Carrots
Sweet potatoes and
Squash

We struggle each day trying to figure out what you like. If you don't like the food you will promptly hit the spoon away or stick your fingers in your mouth and suck on them. When I try to pull them out you fight back and suck even harder.
*We started supplementing formula with breast milk. You will only drink the formula if it has breast milk in it, so we do 5 oz of formula with 2 oz of breast milk and you drink that just fine.
*You started to wake up during the night for a mommy's hug and if daddy comes to get you, you cry even louder until I come and hold you and feed you your bottle.
*The bottle feeding before bedtime, dad will try to feed you, but you start crying immediately and arch your back. Dad will hand you to me and you will drink your bottle. Once you are done drinking you will then go to dad and he will rock you to sleep.
*You are such a happy baby, every one who sees you just falls in love with you and tells me how cute your smile is and how happy you are.
*You love to take walks in your stroller.
*You love dogs and when you see one you say, ya ya.
*You have 2 darling little teeth.(We laugh because Spencer lost his 2 bottom ones and you got your 2 bottoms.)
*You have your dad's stare. You two can do the staring contest and both never blink.
*You figured out that you are ticklish. You love it when we start tickling you at your feet then move up to your belly. It gets you every time.

One of my favorite things is watching you and your dad interact with one other. It brings me so much joy knowing that your dad loves you more then words can explain. I see it through his actions, he will do anything to make you happy. We both love you to the moon and back.

{Hoogle Zoo}

This was your first trip to the zoo. We took Spencer along and we met the Brunner's (Kayle, Jesse, Carson and Stephen)there. We chose one of the hottest days to go. We would constantly stop in the shade and drink water.

You like the animals that were up close but if they were tucked away asleep you would rather watch people go by. You were such a great baby, didn't even cry and you even fell asleep in the hot weather.

You were to happy with us because we woke you up from your nap.

The Dinosaur would roar and move it's head and it didn't brother you one bit.

You liked watching the Giraffes because they had their long tongues out eating and licking the pole.
