{22 Months}

1. You are always jumping, you have recently mastered it and now you can jump with both feet off the ground.
2. You love to run, typically kids will walk by there parents but not you, you are constantly on the run. You have the love for running from your father.
3. You are a fish, you could stay in the water all day if we let you. You are such a brave boy, you figured out when your head is under water you will hold your breath. You got this love from both mom and dad.
4. New words to your vocabulary: Waaay, Crash, No No No, Broo {broke}, beep beep {you do this when you hear a car/truck}
5. One day you put your finger over your mouth and went “shh.” You watch us closer then we thought.
6. You got your first wasp sting on your left wrist.  Now every time you see any type of bug you will point and tell me in your own words “gibberish” all about it. It’s so sad to listen to.
7. Any time you get something new, you have to go to sleep with it.
8. If you want something and we aren't coming, you will pull at us and take us where you want us to go. If you want us to sit by you, you will pat at the spot until we come and sit.
9. You are Mr. Independent, if I try to feed you and you wanted to feed yourself you will throw a fit and place your food exactly where you want it, then you are content.  If we try to move any of your cars to put something in front of you, it’s a melt down and once you get your cars in the right place you are fine again.
10. Dad taught you how to nod you head “yes”. You don’t use it often, only when we ask you to show us how you do it.
11. You will shake you head no and say, heee and smile for yes.
12. You love to climb anything and everything!
13. You are busy, busy, busy. Dad said, you are bringing in age 2 with a bang!
14. This is one of my favorite songs to sing to you.

You are our “SUNSHINE” and we love how you brighten our house/ hearts with your smiles, laughter and personality. We can’t get enough of you, We love you!

{5 months}

The day before you turned 5 months you learned 4 new things.
*1st: you found your vocals, you can sure make a lot of loud squawking noises. Luckily, you don't increase your volume very often.
*2nd: when you are on your tummy you will put your arms under your chest.
*3rd: when on your belly you will turn your leg over to your side.
*4th: you started to really grab at things and you love to help your parents grab whatever we have in our hands.
*You started rice cereal and you aren't a huge fan of it.
*You have out grown most of you 3 months clothing and now you are into 6 months.
*Daddy will be trying to get you to smile and then I come over and you give me the biggest smile. You are such a mommies boy.
*We have heard you say "Hi" and "oh".(all by accident)
*You love me to hold you cheek to cheek and look in the mirror. You always get a big smile.
*You love it when I pick you up and hold you in the air and kiss your chubby little cheeks.
*You take 3 hour naps.
*Your in size 3 diapers.
*You found and like to grab your feet.
*You suck on your middle and pointer fingers upside down.
*It is so fun to watch you so patiently wait for your bottle and see your excitement as the bottle approaches your mouth.
*You enjoy bath time.
*You are the happiest baby.

We are so blessed to have you in my life. We thank our Heavenly Father each night for letting us have the opportunity to raise you. We love being your parents and seeing you grow each day. You always bring us so much joy.

{4 months}

*A couple of days ago you started to grab and hold onto toys.
*You love to grab your burp cloth and suck like crazy on it.
*You are wearing size 2 diapers.
*You are mostly into 3 month clothes and some 3-6 months.
*You are such a wonderful sleeper, sleeping straight 9-10 hours.
*You know who your mommy is. I will leave the room while someone else (like Nana or Dad) is holding you and you will start crying until I come back, then you will get a huge smile on your face. You sure are a Mamas boy!
*You are trying to laugh but out comes little noises.
*You have the cutest and biggest smile.
*You have chunky kissable cheeks.
*You have been sleeping in your own room since the beginning of February. Your mommy was sad and your Daddy was happy. However, you have been sleeping so well in there.

Each day as I hold you in my arms, I thank Heavenly Father for sending me such a perfect little boy. I love you and no words can explain what I feel for you. Your father is very proud to be your dad. When he comes home he kisses your head and says 'hi' before he kisses me.
