Mary, the Mother of Jesus

This Christmas season I reflected on Mary, the mother of Jesus.  I have never thought about it in the way I did this year.  She got to kiss the Savior of the world, wipe his sweet face off from playing in the dirt, wipe His tears, give Him lots of kisses, lots of cuddle time, rock him to sleep, and protect him from harm. I am not raising a Savior, but I am raising one of God’s sons and I feel the sweet spirit that Mary must have felt raising Christ.
