On Monday April 9,2013 at 6:20pm, our little family flew out of the Provo Airport with Allegiant airlines to Florence, Arizona. Ryker did really good on the flight and watched Despicable Me and towards the end of the flight he fell asleep. We landed about 7:30pm Arizona time.
Tuesday was cold outside and Ryker was extremely tired between going to bed at 10pm and waking up at 6:30am, we put him down for a nap. Late afternoon we went to an awesome playground.

He was scared the first few times then he went down all the slides on his own.
These slides were extremely fast, as you can see Ryker flying out of the slide. He might look scared but he was laughing as he was flying.

We brought the stroller with us, but you only rode in it a couple times. You walked all around. We were all very impressed.

Meet the giraffes Ryker and I fed. We paid $5 to feed them, it was worth the money, so cool.
The small one is 2 years old and the taller one is 3 years old. We only feed the taller one because we had to stand behind a yellow line and the little ones tongue couldn’t reach. It’s amazing how fast they grow, just like my toddler.

The train ride: we rode around the entire zoo and saw the animals as we listened to the conductor. It lasted 30 minutes.
Pink Flamingos are by far the funniest and interesting animals to watch, this is how they rest {below}. We were all laughing at how Heavenly Father created these animals with humor.
Taking a snack break while watching the pink flamingos.
Leaving the zoo
We stopped at Organ Stop Pizza and experience out of this world Organ playing. Ryker sat and ate an entire pizza slice which he has never done before. By far the craziest dinner we have ever experienced.
Afterwards we stopped at Frost gelato. AMAZING.
We spoiled Ryker and he got his own bubble gum gelato.
Thursday, Dave and Doug went and played Pickleball in the morning. Then in the afternoon it warmed up to 80 degrees with some cloud coverage. We went to the pool, but it was a little chilly. The sun must have made it a lot hotter because we fried out there.
After 2 hours of swimming we went home and took a bubble bath in this nice bath tub.
Exhausted after the afternoon in the pool. They look so much alike.
Friday morning Dave and Doug played Pickle ball again and they came home around 9:40am and Blanche and I went to Water aerobics. That was so much fun. I love being surround by palm trees and the smell of the rosemary bush smelt so good.
We came home got ready, packed out bags and off to our last stop McDonalds to let Ryker play before getting onto the plane.
We had a fun time even though it wasn’t as warm as we would have liked at least it was warmer then Utah with snow. We had a wonderful first time visiting with Doug and Blanche at there winter home. Can’t wait until next year!
