Dad

I am one lucky girl to have Dave as my Husband and best friend. He is always trying his best to make us happy, he is caring, his love of running has influenced Ryker to love running, his disability never ever limits him. He keeps trying and never gives up with anything, he is very patient, and helps me to see the better in life.
Daddy is gone on a business trip to Canada, this is the first time in your life that he is the one to leave us home instead of us leaving him home.
Getting ready for bed you said,
“Mom, my eyes are wet.”
“Why are they wet?”
“Because I miss daddy.”
“Oh honey, don’t cry we both miss daddy lots, but I promise we will keep busy and before you know it he will be home.”
The 5 days went fairly fast, when he came home he surprised you with a brown monkey stuffed animal and it made the wait worth it.
