Shots

The day has finally come (which I never thought it would come this quick) for you to get your Kindergarten shots. We made it a big deal because getting shots isn’t so fun and you haven’t had them in a while.
Dr. Spencer has been your doctor since you were in the NICU (a couple of days old). He is the one that figured out why you weren’t eating so well, he had your tongue-tie cut so your tongue would  move forward easier.
You two have always had a special bond. He is always praising you with the way you are following your own growth curve and you are always making him laugh at each appointment.

Dr. Spencer was super excited that you finally reached the curve line in weight that every other kid is on.
Yay! Everything else looked great, your eye sight, lungs, heart rate, ears, and speech.
Now on to the horrible moment especially for Mom and Dad you were a champ and did an amazing job as they stabbed you 3 times.
You walked out telling us, “I am so proud of myself for not crying.” We told you that if you would have cried you were still brave.

We went to craving cupcakes and you picked out a rainbow one with blue frosting.

Then we drove to Toys R Us to pick out a toy. We walked around the whole store twice as you carefully made a decision on an octopus, angler fish and a scuba diver.  You were one happy boy.
