Christmas Day

This year's Christmas landed on a Sunday which I really liked because it helps us focus our thoughts by remembering the it's true meaning.
Christmas morning you woke up at 7 am all awake ready to go see what Santa brought. Before we headed downstairs we knelt and said a prayer. 
I headed downstairs first to capture your excitement.
Santa did great this year bringing exactly what you asked for. Especially a Pikachu that talks!

Santa also brought lots of  Star Wars figures and an orange chocolate ball.

It was MadCat's turn to open his stocking filled with cat toys and a new red collar with a tag.

After lots of cuddles with Daddy and Pikachu, we ate homemade cinnamon rolls. Then we got ready for church.

We had a wonderful sacrament program

Then we came home to this beauty that dad did an amazing job with. This was his most successful turkey which was juicy and full of excellent flavors.  Dad took the first bite and did a happy jig . It was quite hilarious to watch and we all raved about how delicious it was. The bacon cooked atop the turkey breast was amazing.

The gravy was also very good.

While daddy was cooking you put all your new Pokémon cards away in dad’s old basketball cards binder.

About 2 pm, Uncle Brian, Aunt Chloe, Nana, and Gramps came over for a turkey dinner with sides of mashed potatoes, green beans, homemade rolls. sweet potatoes, and we can’t forget the corn bread dressing. Dessert was eggnog cake, and a pumpkin pudding cake with vanilla ice cream.
Finally about 3 pm we all gathered around in the living room and opened presents.

From mom and dad you got a Wii with different games and controllers.


MadCat joined us as well.

We gave Uncle Brian and Aunt Chloe a picture of there dog Ricky.

Nana got matching playing picture cards of you and Spencer.

Gramps was super excited to get orange Bai drinks.

Uncle Brian made rocket stoves for dad and Uncle Jason.


After 2 years of me having Brian and Chloe's engagement pictures, it was time to give them a book.

Christmas Eve had snowed a ton all throughout the day and night. It was such a magical beautiful sight.

We left our house and went over to Nana and Gramps’s to open more presents. You were tired, but still super excited to open more gifts.

We enjoyed a wonderful Christmas, spending it with our loved ones, and we missed the Eddins very much. However, we did call them on the phone.

From Santa:  A plush Pikachu, Millennium Falcon, Naughty Mabel book, Star Wars figures, and Pokémon cards.
From Nana and Gramps:Crab and octopus stuffed animals, a sea book, and fire truck PJS.
From Meemaw and Papa: Finding Dory movie, and Wii games.
From Aunt Cindy: Star Wars mashems, and walkie talkies
From The Eddins: Guess Who and Trouble games, along with batman socks with capes.
From Aunt Chloe and Uncle Brian: A treasure box made out of metal.  
From Mom and Dad: Iron Man alarm clock, Wii console, and controllers.

Your homemade ornaments made out of  saltdough then cooked and painted. They turned out so cute.
