Happy Pioneer Day

Yesterday we went to Spring City, Utah to go hang out with our friend Jesse Brunner and ride quads around. Fortunately, it isn't a long drive, we left at 8am and arrived at 9:10. As we were heading down we drove through 2 parades routes and waved to the people sitting on the side of the road.
While waiting for the parade to begin, we walked down to one of the oldest churches in Utah, then at 10am we watched the wonderful parade. Across from where we were standing was Orson Hyde's home. Afterwords, we went back to Jesse's house and sat around a talked and also listened to him play each of his 3 saxophones. Then we went for a ride with Jayson, Megan and Jesse on the quads.
After that we ate some amazing food, played card games and went back out on the quads again. About 5 minutes into our riding, it started to thunder and rain, so we waiting about a half hour for it to clear up. Once it did Dave and I went and rode the quads again. We came back and played more card games, ate more food and set off fireworks. Come 10pm it was time to leave.
Now we can't wait to go back and do some more quading in the mountains.
