Lazy Summer Days

Being a robot. This happens almost ever afternoon.

We love this little backyard. We send you outside and you play for hours in the warm sun. No underwear around the house is what we have been seeing all Summer.
Helping me rake up the bush leaves. “Mommy this is hard work.”

We were lucky to have Spencer stay with Nana at the beginning of June. You guys played everyday for hours. You are both so happy to be with each other.

Playing in the bath tube with bath paints. “yook mommy it is on my ear.” You are constantly making me laugh.

You love playing in Summer rain storms. We quickly grab your rain boats, jacket, umbrella and send you outside to play in the rain puddles.
This is a very rare view with you in underwear. It is usually a cute little naked butt peeking out under your shirt. I took this picture because you are so long and skinny and it made me giggle.

Summer would not be complete without eating frozen yogurt as many times as possible. Your favorite flavor this summer was red velvet cake.

This Summer we have had a lot of little Summer storms. Sitting under the umbrella listening to the rain drops.

Spencer came down and visited with Nana in the middle of July. After a week and half of being here, we took him back to Farmington, Utah. You two played in his apartment swimming pool, played with Diesel, and Spencer's toys. You were knocked out within 5 minutes of heading home.

You were lucky this Summer you had daddy for 3 days a week while mommy went to work for a couple of hours. This was on the way out to work when you said, “mommy why do you yook like a bat?” It made my morning.

We came home after church and you laid down on the floor and played with your transformers. Church must have worn you out.

Summer rain storms are the best. It's all about warm rain, the fresh clean after smell, and seeing this darling little three year old outside in underwear, and rain boots.

We have been having a ton of snails in our backyard. You have been very interested in them. You pick them up and move them to safe spots. You won’t let the snails body touch your hands you told us that it is too icky.

You have no problem letting dad hold it on his hand.

Summers are filled with lots of exploring. We saw a butterfly on the grass so you looked at it and held one of God’s beautiful creations.

After a busy morning of playing with playgroup friends. We came home and you went to the couch and laid like this. “Yook mommy I am like daddy.”

Summer would not be Summer without eating ice cream on the lawn and getting a chocolate face.

I am getting spoiled with your little squishes. I am going to miss our lazy Summer days.
