Fall Break

Spencer and Nana had Fall break October 16-20th. Nana, you and I headed to Farmington at 9:30 am to spend the day with Spencer and Aunt Britnie. We picked them up and headed to a Pumpkin Patch. We began our fun by heading to the slides,

Then to the corn pit.

I love that you two play so well and your defiantly cousin/brothers. Wrestling in the corn.

Waiting to go on a tractor train ride. I hopped in with you since you didn’t want to ride alone. It was so bumpy our bottoms hurt after words.

Next stop through the corn maze. You guys were the official navigators.

But we finally found the way out, but it may not have been the real exist. At least we got out.
Spencer took this picture. My hair just laid on your head.

We went back to Aunt Brintie’s and ate dinner before we headed home with Spencer.

On Friday October 17th, you two played at Nana’s house until 1:30 pm when we {Nana, Spencer, Ashley, you and I} went to Springville to Jacker’s Pumpkin Patch. We met up with our friends Halle, Parker and Kimi.

We all played. I even joined in and played in the massive corn pit

Then we shaked off all the corn and headed to the petting zoo. They had this bird with the most gorgeous feathers.

We even saw and pet a baby Kangaroo.

You two ran through the corn maze. “No, it’s a hay maze, mommy.”

Last but not least we went through the corn maze. We did get lost but not for long and we exited at the end of the maze. You two were great navigators because you had practiced the day before.

And finally we were all tired but, before we left we had to pick another pumpkin.

You didn’t want to smile so, Spencer helped out.

Sun burned cheeks, messy face and very tired. I think it was a successful 2 days of fun.

The weather was perfect, the beautiful fall leaves, crisp air, pumpkin patches, hay rides, and orange pumpkins. We just love this time of year. This quote says it perfect,
“Autumn, the years last loveliest smile.”
