It’s the most wonderful time of the year. All month we have been keeping busy with all the festivities.
We first began by decorating the tree.
Playing with lights.
Each morning we put a cotton ball on Santa’s beard while counting down the days 'til Christmas. You aren’t happy that you have to wait for Santa to come.
We went to Natalie’s house and you two ate candy canes on the floor.
I was in charge of decorating a table for the wards RS Christmas party. I loved how it turned out especially the fresh pine smell.
You were extremely excited to tell Santa what you wanted. You whispered in his ear, “ Optimums prime transforms into T-Rex.”
With the left over pine tree from the RS activity, I made a pine wreath for the door. I had so much fun making it. I will be making one each year.
Ryker helped me make Vanilla bean short bread cookies. I posted this on Facebook saying, “ It’s not Christmas until we make short bread cookies. Come on over we have plenty.” We ended up having 2 families come over and visit. I think we are going to make this a tradition. We have so much fun visiting with our neighbors.
My friend called me and mentioned that her friends who started there own company Nil Organic Tea needed help selling at a booth in Provo (Dec. 6th) and I decided it would be a great experience and took Dave. It was a pretty successful night.
We are having a very mild winter. I looked out the window and saw Libby and Ryker outside eating Clementines and I went to take a picture and they were taking turns telling stories.
Ryker made a card for the mail man. We wrote, “ Thank you for delivering our mail rain, snow or shine.” Love,
David, Stacie and Ryker and left the treat and card in our mail box.
The mail man wrote back and thanked us for our treat and card.
Trying to capture a Sunday Picture.
On December 22nd we drove to Spanish fork and ate at the Little Acorn, and then went to the Festival of lights. Ryker was our little commentary guy.
Thanksgiving was the first time I made my Great Grandma Von Rolls. I made them again and I really enjoy looking at her hand writing and the smell of the rolls bring back so many memories of my dear Grandma Von.
Bath time in December consists of Mohawks.
While driving to pick up Dave at DoTerra, Ryker fell asleep just as we were exiting the free way. Dave opens the door and wakes him up. Ryker exclaims, “I am only resting my eyes.”
We finally got snow on Christmas Day. Then it snowed again Monday December 29th. We went for a walk around the neighborhood and then played with your friends for 2 hours in the snow.
You are my little Canadian and I love it.
We watched for FHE "Yes, Virginia" and in the movie the little girl doesn’t believe in Santa. She writes a letter to the news paper and they write back saying there is a Santa. We asked Ryker, Do you believe in Santa and He exclaims, Yes, I still believe!
Our wishes came true this December, especially let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
