What a fun 4th of July day. While Dave ran the freedom 5k, You and I went to the hot air balloon fest to watch them take off. (We have never done this before only seeing them from our house.) It was so cool hearing the fire roar and feeling the warmth as each one took off.
This picture doesn’t do justice with how beautiful the sunrise was.
Afterwards we picked Dave up from his race and headed to Kneaders for a delicious french toast breakfast.
We came home for a couple of hours and rested (well I actually nap you and daddy watched TV) from getting up at 6 am. Around 4 pm, we went over to Uncle Brian and Aunt Chloe’s house for a family BBQ. We ate chicken, steak, salads, and homemade apple pie with ice cream outside. We watched you swim on the rope swing with their dog Ricky chewing a dog bone in the shade.
We came home to find friends outside playing. We joined in with the fun playing and when it finally got dark enough we watch the fireworks until 10 pm.
Our hearts are so grateful each day for the beautiful country we live in and for the Military men and women who constantly fight for our freedom. Happy Birthday USA!
