Lights at Temple Square

DSC_0291DSC_0294

The weekend of Thanksgiving we all headed to SLC Temple to see the lights. Brian, Spencer, Britnie, and mom all stopped at the Sandy tracks and rode it up to the Temple. Dave, Ryker and I drove and our first stop was at  Hatch Family Chocolates to have  what everyone says is the most AMAZING hot chocolate. Oh my Heavens they were right. We enjoyed every sip until we finished our Creamy Dark Hot Chocolate.  We couldn’t resist grabbing  a couple of Dark chocolates for Sunday’s dessert. (those were just as amazing!)

After 20 minutes driving around to find a parking spot, we finally parked about 4 blocks away and it cost us $5. It’s such a rip off and as we were walking to temple square, we noticed a couple parking lots  that were only 2 dollars.

We finally met up with the clan and enjoyed walking around  in  not to cold weather seeing the majestic temple surround by all the colorful lights. A loving family, a good time and the wonderful spirit of Christmas. What more could we ask for?

*Note to self - keep driving until it drives us all crazy, but at least it’s cheaper and closer!*

*Another note to self - don’t go the weekend of Thanksgiving, extremely crowed.
