The spirit that we felt during Stake Conference was a great way to start out our Easter.
How blessed we are to know that we as Latter Day Saints celebrate Christ's Resurrection and don’t focus on the crucifixion. President Monson put it beautifully, “In our hour of deepest sorrow, we can receive profound peace from the words of the angel that first Easter morning: ‘He is not here: for he is risen.”
He is risen! He is risen!
Death is conquered, man is free
Christ has won the victory
Come with high and holy hymning
Chant our Lord's triumphant lay
Not one darksome cloud is dimming
Yonder glorious morning ray
Breaking o'er the purple east
Symbol of our Easter feast
He is risen! He is risen!
He hath opened heaven's gate
We are free from sin's dark prison
Risen to a holier state
And a brighter Easter beam
On our longing eyes shall stream.
What powerful lyrics, that tell us the true meaning of Easter! He is Risen and now we can return to him one day.
My handsome boys wearing there matching Easter outfits. (Ryker's outfit given from Nana)
The Easter bunny hopped his way to our house, and left Ryker a wonder cars coloring book, a doggy lunch bag, puppy love book, and My Book of Mormon.
Spring is our favorite season, from Winter where everything is dead then these beautiful blossoms bloom.
This is Ryker’s first time having an Easter Egg hunt. On our way to the front door, he found an egg, we showed him what was inside and he couldn’t wait to go find more gold fish and m&m’s with his cousin Spencer.
He brought out Bubble Bee the car and carried it around in his Easter basket.
Finding an egg in the bushes.
What a precious little guy. A lady bug found a nice place to take a rest.
These two love each other like brothers. They will always be best friends.
Enjoying the warm weather while digging in Nana’s flower pot.
Happy Easter!
