Mother's day is always a hard day for me. Half of my heart just aches for more children and watching Ryker grow up being the only child hurts. I never wanted that for him. My heart aches wishing I could physically hold, and kiss my sweet angel babies every day. The other half of my heart is so full and is beyond grateful that Ryker is in my life. He brings so much joy, love, silliness, and my life will always be better because of him. Thank you Ryk for choosing me to be your Mom.
After church Ryker ran towards me handing me a paper. It made me smile when I saw his drawing of him handing me flowers and his hilarious answers to the questions.
All About My Mom
My mom is 01 years old
My mom has blue + green eyes and long hair
My mom is funny when she……. Nothing was written
She laughs when I wear my monster slippers
My mom’s favorite color is... teal +blue
My mom’s favorite food is... soup
My mom’s favorite game to play is... mystery
My favorite memory of my mom is... mystery
My mom always forgets... Mystery
My favorite thing to do with my mom is... hugging her and kissing her
Dave took these amazing pictures of us. Ryker is always overly wild or overly sweet nothing in between when it comes to pictures. I will take what I can that is why we took so many pictures in hope to get a half way decent one of both of us. In the end I just adore all of them.
Ryker and Dave disappeared for a while after about 10 minutes they came downstairs handing me the most adorable card.
Left to right: Me holding flowers with Madcat near me. Ryker and Dave racing to see who hands me the flowers first. But in the end Ryker wins.
Nothing better then his drawings.
In Yw’s I gave a lesson about Women supporting the Priesthood and I talked a little about my amazing Godly mother.
There are so many women in my life who participate in the work of the priesthood. One Godly Daughter of God stands out the most and it’s my Mom.
She was a convert to the church when she was 18 years old and was the only member in her family for many years. She was and is an example to her 3 sisters and parents.
She has always made it a point to serve. She serves her neighbors, our friends (when we were growing up), and in what ever calling she gets she serves faithfully.
When my brother was on a mission my mom took in his friend Skyler who was struggling and let him live, eat, and become a part our family with no complaints and loved him as her own.
Today she is continually serving the Lord in the temple, and in the singles ward along side with Dad. Mom is helping out in the work of the priesthood by inviting people through her example to come unto to Christ.
