Game 4:
You still aren’t thrilled about playing soccer. Everyday you’ll ask us “Do I have soccer practice or a game?” When we tell you that you have practice or a game you always reply, “I quit.”
We’ve had lots of conversations about how we don’t quit we keep trying until we finish out the season. At least you are running around with the team even though you are in your own imagination.
Game 5:
Number 2 standing there dreaming of things other than the game.
“Do you know what fits my puzzle? Swimming fits my puzzle!” We are finally getting to the end of soccer and you couldn’t be more thrilled.
Game 6:
It was extremely windy and cold so maybe you couldn’t hear with all of your hat layers because every time the Blue coach called for his team to come in you ended up joining them.
You also made lots of squishy faces as he ran by.
You were hilarious to watch.
Final Game:
Coach Riley was a great coach always making each kid feel wanted no matter the skill level.
He also made sure to high five each kid when they got back on the field from sitting out.
It was a great season, Way to go Black Hawks!
Way to to go Number 2 for sticking it out with soccer. We definetly watched you grow and learn through out your soccer practices and games. You learned a valuable lesson to always try hard things and keep trying until you know for sure you don’t like or love it. This may be the end of Soccer or you may want to try again. Only time will tell.
