For the past 3 years the boys run the Tulip 5k and Kids mile run. In the packets they receive free admission to the Tulip festival at Thanksgiving point. We always take advantage of it and go explore the beautiful flowers.
At the water fountain you had so much fun running up and down the stairs.
Then you took dad up and you two explored for a bit.
Then you spotted a little lady bug.
We went into the light of the world sculpture garden. When we got in to the sacred grove you froze and stood there staring at the Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ statues that were in the air.
You ran to the feet and touched them saying, “They have toes just like me!”
The spirit was strong and I know that you could feel it. What a great testimony builder to have you see them, touch them, and to know that they have bodies just like you.
“The Earth laughs in flowers.” –Ralph Waldo Emerson
I just fell in love with the floating umbrellas. I told you to go stand in a shade puddle a lady was walking by heard me and said, “That is a cute way to describe a shadow.”
We stopped just before leaving and took a few picture of us with the gorgeous tulips.
You are so good at taking pictures of mommy and daddy and you were especially cute and loving when we taking our pictures.
It was a nice afternoon taking it slow walking around enjoying Gods beautiful gift with the people I love most.
