{Heart Beat}

On April 14th I was able to hear my baby's heart beat. As I was lying there waiting for the doctor to find it, a thought ran though my mind that there was no heart beat and the baby was dead. Oh how that scared me. A few seconds later he found that little thing. As I was listening I started to get teary eyed. I can't believe that little thing inside of me is mine. The doctor said that the heart beat was at 179 beats per minute and it is going strong. It was such a precious moment in time. The only thing that wasn't perfect was Dave wasn't there. He didn't want to take time away from work for a routine doctors visit, but from now on he said he will be joining me.
