{NEWS}

I want every one to know that I am 10 weeks PREGNANT. I took a home pregnancy test on March 3rd and it was positive. Dave was on the phone with his father and I told him to put him on hold, and I told him that he was going to be a father. His eyes widened and he gave me a little chuckle. After he got off the phone He says to me, "Why didn't you wait for me?" I told him I couldn't wait any longer and I showed him the pregnancy stick that showed positive. We decided to take another one so he could experience it with me and also I couldn't believe the first one so I took another one at the end of that week and once again it was positive. I was still in shock, so I went to the doctors to have my blood drawn to have a positive confirmation and also it was for insurance to get on Medicaid. It came back POSITIVE. My heart skipped a beat and I was in shock, I was truly Pregnant!

Whats going inside....
Though he's barely the size of a kumquat (some sort of fruit)— a little over an inch or so long, crown to bottom — and weighs less than a quarter of an ounce, your baby has now completed the most critical portion of his development. He's swallowing fluid and kicking up a storm. Vital organs — including his kidneys, intestines, brain, and liver. If you could take a peek inside your womb, you'd spot minute details, like tiny nails forming on fingers and toes (no more webbing) and peach-fuzz hair beginning to grow on tender skin.

The baby's limbs can bend now. His hands are flexed at the wrist and meet over his heart, and his feet may be long enough to meet in front of his body. The outline of his spine is clearly visible through translucent skin, and spinal nerves are beginning to stretch out from his spinal cord. Your baby's forehead temporarily bulges with his developing brain and sits very high on his head, which measures half the length of his body.

The fist 10 weeks:
always hungry
1-7th weeks I had energy
Didn't start throwing up until week 9.(of course when we were in Canada)
Had a little nausea, just when I didn't have food in my stomach.
I haven't had any weird cravings yet.
I don't crave sweets. If placed in front of me I will eat it.
Both Dave and I are so happy to have this little embryo with us. We look forward for the day we can hold this sweet little thing.

On Monday April 12th, David started an internship job at VMT Technolocies. We are both very excited and we hope that it will lead to a full time paying job in the next couple of months. If so, we will be moving closer to his work down in south Provo.
