You at 12 months:

• You love to put your hand in a shoe and crawl  around with it
• When you are tired you will cuddle up against my chest and tuck your arms under your stomach.
• You are all boy, always making motor boat or vroom noises while pushing any toy around.
• You have an imagination. You will sit down with a toy for about a minute and talk to it.
• You are always jabbering.  Some times after you talk you will chuckle.
• You get so giddy when you are tired.  You can hardly stay still and you are giggling like crazy.
• When we ask, “Where is the ball, or Where is the doorbell?” you will go and grab the ball or push the doorbell on your toy tent.
• Words you can say: Mama, Dada, Dog (silent G), ball, hi and hey.
• Words that we have heard you say: hello and no.
• You are testing your balance. Only holding on by one hand while walking, walking along the couch with using only one hand, pulling yourself up and then letting go and standing there for half a sec.
• You still have only your two bottom teeth.
• You are still in size 3 diapers.
• You are wearing 12 months clothes.
• You are in 0-6 month size shoes.
• You are still taking 2 naps a day for a total of 2 hours.
• We read you a book and then  lay you down for bed and sometimes you will cry for a few seconds, but most of the time you wont cry at all if your tired. You are such a good sleeper and will sleep for 11 hours most nights with out waking up.
• You are always smiling. People are always commenting.
• You are an easy going baby. Never really cries unless tired, hurt, or hungry.
• You get super excited when Spencer comes and plays with you. You love to climb and play with him.
• You learned to clap your hands.
• When you see your stroller you start pulling yourself down to it and you love to take walks  in your stroller.
• You like siting next to mom and reading books together.

You have grown so much since the day you were born. Your look has matured and your personality has blossomed. I love being a stay at home mom and watching you explore and grow each day. We are excited to watch the next 12 months and see all the new adventures you will experience. Words can’t express how much we love you.
