{15 months}

DSC_0482

You have learned so many new things this month. You are growing way too fast and I want you to slow down, but at the same time it’s so fun to watch you enjoy life.

  • You started twirling around the living room.
  • You walk on your tippy toes around the house.
  • Daddy showed you once where your belly button is and then once we ask you where your belly button is, you’ll point to it.
  • When we ask for “kisses” you bend your head down so we can kiss your forehead. I guess you got used to being kissed on your head since we didn't teach you to lower your head down when we asked for a kiss.
  • You give us the best hugs, we love to feel your little squeezes on your legs.
  • You like to crawl in and out and around our legs.
  • When you hear any type of music, you dance by bobbing you head or stomping your feet.
  • Your eyes are a grey-blue and around the iris they are getting some green.
  • You are in size 4 diapers.
  • Your 12 month clothing is about 1/2 inch too small in the length. You are tall and skinny.
  • You have boycotted your high chair, stroller, and shopping carts. You are wanting to be a big boy and sit like us on the kitchen chairs, walk while we push the stroller, and if we are lucky you will sit sideways in the shopping cart or if we find paper plates or something you can use to sit on in the cart.
  • You will point the clicker to the TV and we know exactly what you want, to watch your all-time favorite show, Clifford the Big Red Dog.
  • You love to read Clifford books, we will ask you where’s Clifford and you point to him.
  • You think it’s funny to put your finger in your nose, we tell you to get your little finger out of your nose and you will giggle and take it out.
  • You say: E..I..E..I, Only said Moo once.
  • You love to climb on anything that is at your level, you think it’s funny to walk and stomp on pillows.
  • You have been able to close doors by pushing them, but recently you learned to pull the door towards you and close it that way.
  • Love to eat toilet paper!
  • You shake your head “NO” when you don’t want something.
  • Give High Fives
  • You have ticklish feet.
  • You don’t like: Peanut butter and scramble eggs. You are still a very picky eater. It’s getting harder to find things that you will actually eat. You could live off milk and chocolate milk!
  • You love it when daddy chases you around the house.

I always want to remember the little things that you do and say each day. I am going to blink and you will be 15, but no matter if you are 15 months or 15 years, you will always be my little boy. I love you!
