{Rash}

You have been sick with teething, a cold, running nose, ear infections and this rash. It’s been a hard 2 weeks.

This rash would only appear when you got really warm or in the bath. It was so hard to see you with this, it didn’t bother you and it didn’t feel warm. It just looked terrible, it would take about a couple of hours for the rash to disappear.

We first thought it was a heat rash but the more we looked into it we found it was hives; raised and swollen areas on skin. I took you to the doctors and she only suggested that I kept you cool in warm places, (you still got the rash but not in big patches) and most likely this was caused by the virus infection that you were trying to fight off. We got you on amoxicillin and acetaminophen and about 10 days your hives went away.

We are so grateful for modern day medicine and for a happy healthily boy!
