Saturday January 25th, morning at 11am Dave took me to the movie Saving Mr. Banks. It was such a great uplifting movie. I love the time I get to just spend with him.
Then we picked up Ryker from Nana and Gramps house and headed over to the pet store to look at cats. None of the ones we held stood out to us so we headed home.
My family came over at 4pm to eat my great-grandma Vons famous beans and rolls from Shirley's bakery. We ate Better Then Whatever cake with Snickers on top and opened presents.
I got...
From Ashley and my parents, boot socks and a felt scarf.
From Dave, a Yoga mat and Yoga DVD.
New this year are ice castles that are man made in Midway, Utah. So we all piled in the car expect dad, Jason and Chloe. When we were waiting in line they played Frozen music, it was so fitting.
These ice castles were spectacular and Brian, Ryker and Spencer had fun crawling in the tunnels and going down the ice slide. Ryker was a great sport until his feet got cold. We felt his pain we didn’t put the right shoes on him. I don’t know what we were thinking. Next year we will be more prepared and go during the day so we can see more detail in the ice.
Goal I want to work on through out being 28….
* I want to take a photography class {I eventually want to take pictures for a living}
* Learn how to do Photoshop better
* Go to the temple more often
* Learn to start really loving the Book of Mormon so I can pass it along to my my son and future children
* Be a better mother and not get so frustrated with Ryker so easily.
*Finish my wedding album that I have been working on for 7 years.
It was a great Birthday and I can’t wait to see what this year will bring. Happy 28th to me!
