This is not how I pictured my life…

Life is hard. I had to get a job.  I told Dave that I wasn’t wanting to get a job, but I would go to the interview. It has been 4 years since I had an interview and I walked away feeling good about the interview, but expected them to not offer me a job. A day latter I get a call from Mountain View High School offering me the job. I accepted it. It was meant to be. Everything lined up.
I cried for days. I did not want to get a job because the only job I am suppose to do is be a mother. But I know at the same time I need to help and Dave’s work is flexible at this time so he is able to stay at home and be with Ryker from 8-12:30 pm and I come home and Dave leaves for work from 1-5 pm. It is also only for 3 months until school is out.

It is hard every day to leave my little boy at home, but I have enjoyed getting out the house and work with handicaps. They bring so much happiness and the spirit into my life. I am thankful for the Lord helping me to understand that I don’t have control of my life. He is my leader and I must follow him and all things will work out.
While I am at work this is what happens…

When I walk through the door Ryker comes running up and tells me all about his morning playing with his daddy. It makes me smile to know how much they love each other.
