Half Birthday

With only having one child we can really spoil him. Ryker will only be 5 1/2 once and we decided to make it a day about him.
We began the day by attending his Soccer Game. We came home and ate lunch and measured him on the measuring board. He grew 2 inches since October. No wonder I had to go buy him pants, underwear and shirts. At 2 p.m. we were off to the movie theater to see Zootopia. He sat between us so we could listen to his commentaries and giggles while passing the kettle corn and root beer back and forth.

Afterword's we went out to dinner at Applebee’s, then came home and sang half of a birthday song with his half a birthday vanilla cake with Hank the octopus on top.  He was smiling all day long.
