5k and 1 mile RUN

On Saturday April 30th, Dad ran the 5K race at the Thanksgiving point Tulip Festival.  He ran it in 23 minutes and won 1st place in his age division.

It was time for your first ever 1 mile run and you did it with daddy. You are all geared up and ready for your race. (Dad filled up the water bottles so you ran a very heavy pack)

Off you went with daddy running by your side. You crossed the finish line in 12 minutes 36 seconds. You did an amazing job!  Dad  said you stopped once at the half way point to get a drink at the aid station. You ran the whole mile! Way to go!
