Running

You ran the Steal days half mile kids run with Dad.
You told me “Mom, my shoulders hurted while running, but I kept on running and I didn’t stop to walk!”
“Look at my medal it is huge and sparkly!”
I always get teary eyes watching him cross the finish line and accomplishing something hard.
