Memorial Day

The weather was absolutely perfect, so we started off our morning with a 3 mile run for Dave while I rode my bike along side him, towing Ryker in his trailer.
In the afternoon my family {minus dad, who is in Texas visiting his sick father and Brian and Britnie, who were at work} went bowling at the Y. It was Ryker’s first time.  He liked running up and pushing the ball down the elephants trunk, until the 6 lb bowling ball decided to fall off and land on his big toe. It is truly a miracle that he didn’t break it. It only nicked the tip of his toe nail and it bled underneath. We got a band aid and he was fine afterwords and was running around.
The Score:
Jason- 110
Dave-106
Mom-86
Me-86
Spencer- 80
Ryker-75
We are not professionals, but we sure did have a fun time.

We came home and made homemade Bonzi burgers from Red Robin, pasta salad, chips and Snicker apple salad. Brian and Ryker had fun playing around.

I am grateful for all the men and women who are serving or have served in the military so my family can be free. “It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived.” –George S. Patton
