9 Years

9 Years ago Dave was 25 and I, 20 years old. We were young, happy and in love. We know what we wanted in life and when to start a family and how many kids we wanted. Then we went through a trial that tested our marriage, and our faith. We fought this trial together and become a stronger couple. At times we defiantly struggled, but we held on to each other and haven’t let go.  When we celebrated our 5th anniversary I was 6 months pregnant with our boy Ryker.  Life was just wonderful when he came into our lives. Then we wanted another one and we tried and tried and we are still trying. Once again our marriage, and our faith have been tested and stretched. We once again have held on to each other and we know that nothing can break our love for one another.

Anniversary started on Tuesday afternoon when a beautiful edible arrangement came to my door. On the card it read, “ Happy anniversary! I love you and Ryker so very much! Hope you enjoy your edible flower arrangement. The next 9 years will be even better!

Our 9 year anniversary…
Started with a sealing session at the new Payson Temple. The sealer looked at us and asked how long we have been married and we replied, “9 years today.” He then responded "you are looking at each other like newlyweds.” I felt the spirit strong and memories of our wedding day came flowing back.

We then picked up Ryker at Nana’s house and headed to Which Wich?  (a sandwich place}

Afterword's we walked over to the movie theater and took little guy to see Inside Out. He is always so much fun to sit by in movies.

The movie got over at 4:30 pm and we dropped Ryker off once again at Nana’s house so we could go out to dinner.
We picked a new Italian place called, Oregano. We enjoyed our time talking, eating {Mango Pineapple Lemonade, Fettuccine Alfredo shrimp mango pasta, Cajun chicken pasta} and remembering the last 9 years.  

I can’t wait to see what the next 9 years will bring. It will defiantly be even better then the last 9 years.
