Wow, another month has passed by and every time I blink you grow another inch or two, you can talk in sentences and play with friends in the back yard by yourself. Each new phase in life is so fun to enjoy.
We love you son.
-You still call airplanes; wanna
-You are 3 feet tall.
-You can count up to 6, sometimes it's right on, other times you mix the numbers around
-You know what color blue and green are and if you're not sure what color it is you call it green.
- You are an Oreo lover and you call them “arrow” and you must always have 2, one for each hand.
- You always want mommy to put you to bed. You curl up beside me and suck your fingers while playing with my hair.
- You love to hide under blankets and we have us find you.
-We have stopped with diapers and now you wear pull-ups.
-You want to do what the big kids are doing. Your favorite thing to do when your six year old friends came to play is chase them around and tackle them and they love it.
-You tried peas in the pod for the first time this Summer and you loved them. You must be related to me.
-You are really good at saying your please and thank-you's.
-One of our favorites you do is when you come and squeeze on our legs and give it kisses.
-While you stand on your tippy toes you say," Tippy toes, tippy toes.” It’s hilarious and we have no clue where you got that one from. Maybe Peppa Pig.
You would be potty trained already if it wasn't for a string of events that has kept it from happening. In June we spent a few days getting you used to using your potty and you were only three or so days away from being fully trained. Then I took you on a trip to New Mexico for a few days so we didn't work on training you at all; therefore, you reverted back to just using diapers. Once we returned we thought we'd have enough time to train you before our road trip to Canada, which was only two or three weeks away. Unfortunately, you got sick for a few days with lots of diarrhea, so we couldn't work on your training then. After that was over, the trip to Canada was too soon, and besides, we prefer you using a diaper for a long road trip. So we were planning on starting after we returned, however you broke your leg a few days before the trip was over. Being in a cast for 3.5 weeks put your potty training on hold even more. Hopefully nothing else will get in the way and we can have you potty trained by the time you turn 3.
