Easter Day 2015

Easter was April 5th and it landed on General Conference weekend. Easter brings so much newness. New life to the trees that are blooming, New life to the cold ground that brings up beautiful flowers and green grass to play in. And new life to the bright sun that brings us warmth. Spring is such a beautiful time of year. It also helps us reflect on the true meaning of Easter by remembering that Christ was Risen and has given us the beauty that surrounds us!
The Easter Bunny was very sneaky and hid your Easter basket in a toy bin. It didn’t take long to find it.
The Easter bunny must have really thought you were a good boy and needed a basket full of goodies. Well, I agree with the bunny and you are one lucky boy.

You got; scriptures, Hero reading book, 3 card games, Egg shaped M&M’s, Hershey’s cookie and cream eggs and you were most excited about the Iron Man shirt.

These beautiful tulips are from our backyard to make our kitchen pretty on the Easter day.
 
During  the morning session of Conference you painted Easter eggs. I really like the tie die coloring kit. You didn’t get your hands stained because you had a syringe to use.

Afterword's you were experimenting with mixing colors.

You quickly learned when all the colors are mixed you get black and you asked Daddy if he could separate all the colors.

You looked at your hands and were scared that the dye wouldn’t come off.

During the Afternoon session, we cracked your eggs to make them into Deviled eggs. You weren’t a huge fan of the Deviled eggs.

Mommy: Because of Him, I can be with my family forever.

You: Because of Him, I can see Heavenly Heather and Jesus Christ.
