Mother’s Day

This holiday has been really hard to celebrate since I have been going though infertility. My heart aches for one each and everyday,  then we have a holiday where I am reminded that I can’t fulfill my role as a mother and bring more babies to the earth.
Then I look at my boy and I'm reminded that I have a miracle. He has been my strength and I will make all holidays the best, no matter how hurt I feel inside.
I know that he can feel my pain, he has been there to give me hugs and kisses when I just felt like crying or having a really tuff day.
Even though I have one kid, I am still a mother. I am so grateful that he chose me to be his mommy. I love the good, bad, and even the hard days with him. My heart is full, but it still has more to love. I hope I can make this boy a big brother one day.

I'm so grateful for Dave and all the reassurance he gives me. He has seen the happy, sad, and the ugly with me and he still holds my hand and helps me through it all.
Oh, how I love my little family.

I was very spoiled. It started on Saturday evening Dave, and Ryker vacuumed the living room while I went grocery shopping.  On Sunday morning Dave made me scramble eggs, toast and Crio Bru while I got ready for church. When we came home they surprised me with a book and a Doterra scarf. We changed our church clothes and then relaxed on the coach watching a couple movies. I made Honey lime Enchiladas, sweet rice, and spaghetti squash. My Mom, Dad, and cousin Ashley came over and had dinner with us and brought a cake.
After Ryker was asleep Dave gave me a back rub to end my mother’s day.

My mom's Stacie name is...
She is 18 years old.
She is as big as our house.
She has golden hair and green eyes.
Her favorite food is popcorn.
Her favorite color is blonde and blue.
She likes to go to 7 peaks.
For fun she likes to help me.
My favorite thing to do with my mommy is play with me.
I love my mom because she plays with me.
Ryker age 4 1/2
