Sickness has stuck our house again. Monday morning you woke up complaining that your stomach hurt and throughout the morning you started to get a fever. We were able to control your fever thought the day using a blend of oils and also diffused the same oils in the air. By Tuesday afternoon your fever reached 103.8 degrees and stayed that way clear until 7 pm where it finally dropped to 101 degrees. It hurt us seeing you in such pain and we can’t help you.
Dad started to get sick Tuesday night with body aches, and a cough. Now I have two sickies and I am hoping and praying that I don’t get sick.
Wednesday morning while you ate breakfast, you stuck your tongue out and I was shocked to see that you had huge sores on your tongue. You didn’t complain that they hurt, but I texted Gramps and he said you might have hand foot and mouth disease, but thankfully you had no other signs then the sores on the tongue. I kept a close eye on you the rest of that day and you still didn’t complain about it hurting. My thinking is, just like drinking hot chocolate that is too hot and burns your tongue, that when your fever reached 103.8 and lasted 7 hours or more it basically burnt your tongue.
Daddy is very weak and has a nasty cough and you are weak from your two day fevers and having tongue sores. You spent the day laying with daddy watching movies, cuddling Diesel the monkey, and dressing up as Iron Man.
Even Iron Man gets sick and rests from his duties.
Thankfully for you by Thursday afternoon you felt well enough to go to Hee Haw Farms.
Dads sickness continued to get more sick. His cough, nausea, and weakness just won’t go away, so on Friday evening he received a blessing and by Sunday he was feeling better.
Thank goodness I didn’t get sick. I hope that this is our last sickness for the season. It hurts me to see both of your in so much pain.
