4th of July

At 7:30am we {Nana, Aunt Pam, Dad, Mom, and you} went to our wards 4th of July breakfast. ^^ This was our view as we ate^^

We decided to forgo the overly crowded Provo Parade, and instead decided to go to the hot air balloon show. As we were heading down we saw what we thought was the Canadian Maple hot air balloon about to land so we chased that one. We parked and watched it try to find the right stop.

It finally landed in the Provo Macy’s parking lot. We hopped in the car and went over.

We were able to help hold the hot air balloon as they squished all the air out of it. Then once they placed it in the bag you helped squish it even more.

That was such a fun experience. We will be making the hot air balloons a tradition.

We came home about 9:30am and Daddy rested while you watched a movie with your knight's hamlet.

At noon we went over to Nana and Gramps house {with the Norcross gang} and had hot dogs, corn on the cob, fresh salsa with chips, and tuxedo cake with fresh garden raspberries.
Then we got a crazy idea to walk a half mile in 98 degree weather to Scera Park for Colonial Days.

We sat down and watched a play. It was a full show and we weren’t expecting to be there for well over an hour. So, you, Troy and Dad walked around.

It was so darn hot, you helped Gramps water the lawn and then we filled up balloons with water and you and daddy had a water balloon fight.

The Norcross gang came over to our house and we ordered pizza and watched Aerial fireworks all in the sky and we also did a few of our own smaller fireworks.

On this day as we celebrate our Freedom, we also thought a lot about our dear Chloe who is currently serving in the Army in Afghanistan. We pray for her often and for the rest of the Men and Women who are serving for our Freedom.
