Strawberry Days

Friday June 20th we went to Strawberry days with cousin Ashley. We sent you on a few rides. You weren’t sure at first if you would like the rides but then you were hooked.

We took a brake from rides and walked around the boutiques and saw a ninja turtle. 

We had to stop and eat their famous Strawberries and Crème. Ashley and I both agreed we shouldn't find out how they made the cream or other wise we would be eating it every day. It was so darn good.

We thought it would be fun to have you try your first roller coaster ride. You were all happy, but once it started and the ride jerked forward you burst into tears. Every time you would pass us you gave us the saddest, crocodile tear face and then stare down the conductor. We so badly wanted to get you out. Once you were off the ride you said,”I don’t like that ride and I cried.”

We made it to you and you got to pick what rides you wanted. You were happy again.

Even though this summer we aren’t able to go on a real vacation, at least we are having fun exploring what our area has to offer through activities like these. It is going to a fun filled summer.
