At the farm

Being over playgroup can be challenging, but it has been so much fun planning field trips. Today we went to Hee Haw Farms in Lindon. All week leading up to Thursday it has been raining and cold. We finally got a little break in the weather on Thursday so we headed to the farm.
When we first arrived it was very windy and cold, but it didn’t stop the little ones from exploring.  Especially you, you did a little hop in the air as you were walking to pet the little horse. DSC_0813DSC_0814DSC_0822
Then we all hopped on the train for a very bumpy ride.

I loved my view. Seeing your little head bumping up and down.

We went in with the goats. Oh my the little babies were so darn cute. I almost wanted to take one  home until it started to eat my camera bag.

You three were trying to feed hay to the duck. It didn’t like it so it ran around and you guys followed.

You joined the goats by sitting in the hay.

Just when we left the goats and closed the gate, it started to rain. We quickly ran to the corn pit because it had a metal roof covering. We waited out the storm.
We all had fun feeling the corn between our fingers and toes.

It looks like you are being an ostrich but really you are doing summersaults. Your head would sink down making flipping over easy. You kept on doing them over and over again.

The rain finally stopped after 30 min and the sun came out. We all piled on the wagon for a hayride. Did I mention we were the only people there the entire time. It was so nice.

You were so excited to ride Bear. DSC_0961DSC_0962DSC_0967DSC_0969
You and Natalie ran to the top of the slide and both were laughing all the way down. Then you guys would run back up and go down over and over again for a good 30 minutes.

We stayed there for 2 1/2 hours. The minute we got home you asked if we could go back to the corn pit.  I think we will be doing this again soon.
It brings me so much joy seeing you interact with friends and explore the world around you.
